You have been hired as an outside consultant for a large durable medical equipment and medical supply company. The company specializes in a wide range of medical supplies and equipment. Some of its most profitable offerings include hospital bed rental to private residents, wheelchairs, walkers, scooter and other mobility equipment. However, they have come to realize that competition is increasing and market share is getting tight. They note that most of their customers are new costumers and very few are repeat customers. They are concerned with customer loyalty. The medical supply company owner has asked you to train develop a plan to improve customer loyalty and train the staff.

Training is an important tool improve the skills of employees or staff members for a particular task or role. Training provides required knowledge for employees which will enhance their capabilities and bring greater good for the organisation. In this case the training plan must be developed to enhance customer loyalty and make the staff customer focused so that the desired outcome is achieved. Following is the training plan to improve customer loyalty:
A) training goal: to enhance capabilities of the staff members to build strong customer relationship and gain their trust, so that customers will become loyal and build a long term relationship with the company.

Training will be provided to the staff in a classroom, arranged with proper ambience and the training will be instructed by senior customer relationship manager and one outside customer relationship expert. In training session, role playing, explanation and methods will be explained to the staff with most practical examples and they will be involved in it to gain actual experience.
D) learning materials:
Class room training will be arranged, with a projector and screen to help the staff get trained in an effective manner, work pads are provided to the staff so that they can take important notes. And a test will be conducted to judge how far they have grasped the knowledge.
E) evaluation:
Staff members will be evaluated with a simple test to assess their mental presence and how far they have learned and they will assessed by observation scale method on actual job, when they will be dealing with customers. After assessing them feedback will be provided to them so that they can improve further.
