The vision reflects the actions, beliefs, values, and more importantly what the company desire of being in future. The principle components of effective and compelling vision are inspirational, ambitious, realistic, creative, descriptive, clear and consistent. Vision has to be clear and precise as to what it wants to say. It has to be descriptive and describe the purpose, The ambition shall be clear as to what the organization wants to become in future, creative and distinct that should make organization stand out and it shall be real so that people can trust it.

The vision of Airtel, a telecommunication company states on its website that “Our vision is to enrich the lives of our customers. Our obsession is to win Customers for life through an exceptional experience.”

The vision statement lacks clarity, lacks creativeness. The vision statement shall have stated as to how it would have enriched the life of customers, and the creativeness is missing as nothing exception being written that shows the company can go over other companies to provide best service.
