Explanation / Answer
22.1 Answer
Intangible system is that system whose services are not visible, it means you cannot touch it. If you have a software system that is intangible in nature then you have to face various problems i.e. buggy software products and customers, who are unsatisfied with the products they receive, customers' inability to know all the requirements in advance. The cost of internally generated intangibles, such as computer software, must be capitalized or expensed depending on three project stages. The stages are as follows:-
1) Preliminary project stage -formulation and evaluation of alternatives, determining the existence of the needed technology.
2) Application development design includes coding, installation to hardware, testing, and parallel processing.
3) Post-implementation stage includes application training and software maintenance.
23.2 Answer
In software systems development, iterative project planning adds agility to the development process by allowing the developers as well as the users to learn from, and build upon former software development projects. Iteration is defined as the process of repeating something as often as is necessary until a specific result is achieved.A project plan must be continuously monitored to as to determine, at any point in time during the project.A plan needs to be reviewed continually because things change and more information becomes available as a project progresses. The plan sets down the baseline direction and activity that needs to be performed toward the outcome. Along the way, things always change and could change the final outcome. For example, if the project is build a boat that can take ten people and runs with an engine, you might discover that engines are no longer available, so the original plan would have to become build a boat that can take ten people and runs with sails.
24.6 Answer
program inspections are necessarry for an program because by searching for errors as, compilling give the same result or shows errors done by programmers. The copmiler only tells where is the error or exceptions is occuring but to execute the program we have to do correction manually.By doing program inspection we can find & correct or improve those errors even before compilling the program.Using IDE of any particular for particular programming Language gives only Hint of the error. but after doing inseption we can correct it and execute or run the program.
types of error are unlikely to be discovered through inspections:-
(a) syntax error
(b) initialization of variables
25.8 Answer
there are several benefits of using change request form as a central document in the change management process:-
(a) it provides better control and regulating changes to the project.
(b) improves the communication between team members and reduce project slowly & Ccarefully.
(c) you can change control in your organization.
(d) you can provide the description, costs and urgency of the change.
