Explanation / Answer
Section 4.4
Should the government set a maximum wage? Why or why not?
No, government should not set a maximum wage. A ambitious person always work harder and more effectively when their is something more higher, more great to achieve. Getting rewarded adequately for their work always motivates people. If a maximum wage is set by the government, then few ambitious highly skilled people would not have that motivating factor while working. Companies in anyways would only give higher wage to highest performing employees and that would only result in overall success of company which in turn would help government as a more successful company would give higher taxes. So, there should not be any reduction in the number of motivating factors a person can have to keep working harder and better than ever and money in form of wage is surely a big motivating factor.
