Knowledge helps in knowledge management and it is useful for providing means through which knowledge can be transferred.
The guidelines of knowledge management help you provide the necessary means for transferring the knowledge effectively between people.
The important guidelines include setting the context. It helps if there is clarity regarding the purpose of knowledge.
The scope and purpose needs to be sorted out and it should be important to have the necessary resources for completing the essential exercise.
It also helps for capturing the knowledge and providing access to the knowledge between different people.
It is also necessary to identify the teams of knowledge and run the capture process effectively.
The lesson should be effectively distilled out for clarity. The recommendations should be pointed out effectively.
It should also focus on validating the lessons. This should be based on any recommendations, lessons that need to be validated that anyone comes across during the distillation phase.
The Knowledge asset needs to successfully designed and placed where the knowledge customers or seekers can effectively find.
