You will prepare two sets of questions for an interview and a questionnaire. These questions should be prepared so that you can elicit human information requirements to solve the problems you have identified earlier in your problem statement. Prepare your questions to survey the users about their work and to utilize the limited interview time as efficiently as possible. Similarly, you want to gather as useful data as possible with limited number of questions on your questionnaire. Your interview questions should have a mix of open-ended and closed questions for the users. The cause-effect relationship you are trying to identify should be clear from the questions. Also identify the type of arrangement for ordering your questions, and why that arrangement is appropriate. Explain how you would modify your interview questions for an entry-level user vs. a manager. Your questionnaire should have a mix of open-ended and closed questions as well. Use both nominal and interval type scales to gather feedback on different measures.
This is my Problem Statement
My goal is to make the necessary changes to make MacDonald’s more marketable, more profitable, customers satisfaction total redesign of all our stores, better inventory management, improvement in the way our stores are managed.
As of today, not all our MacDonald’s offer fantastic service and good marketable strategies that will keep our business up and running to compete with other restaurants and the demand of customers’ expectations.
Our information management and design team is struggling to obtain ways to put MacDonald’s at the top of the competition. For example, how can we obtain faster service when people are going through the drive thru or when they come inside to buy something. The problem with this, is that sometimes people do not know what they want or people must wait on their order after making their purchase.
