Have you ever worked in an organization that had to “shut down” the systems periodically to do updates/maintenance or upgrade operating systems or software? For this discussion, share a brief overview of that environment (an example of when a shutdown needed to happen), and describe how using cloud computing instead of what that company was using could be advantageous. What would the advantages be? What type of cloud service model might be implemented? After you’ve written your scenario, review at least two of your peers’ scenarios. In any organisation it is must to shutdown the system when they want to upgrade or when doing maintainence activities. But even when the server or systems down there will be backup servers or systems inorder to make the business operations run normally. There is no difference for this backup server and the main server because the bcakup server is replica to the main server only. This will be used in the scenarios like main server crash, maintainence, upgrade etc..

In cloud computing all the services are provided by the cloud service providers. Organisations using cloud computing services doesn't need not to do any maintainence or upgrades like this. They just run their business activities and related services. All the other about systems and maintainence are taken care by colud service provides. This is the main advantage service provided by cloud computing.

There are many other advantages of cloud computing like. Security for the data is provided by cloud service providers itself , in this way it is very secure. Performence will be high and the servers are alltime available.

Platform as a Service is the best model to implement as all the platform with the operating system and some necessary softwares are installed and provided. We just need to implement our main business core things only.
