3. What are the benefits and disadvantages of each type when making an HCI for persons with disabilities? In your answer consider many different disabilities.

5. Describe a process you would use to gather data and analyze results using your usability questionnaire for HCIs using virtual assistants.

Explanation / Answer

a)Humans who interacted with computers were information technology professionals and dedicated users. this changed disruptively with the emergence of personal computing .personal computing including both personal softwares such as productivity applications ,text editors and spreadsheets and some interactive computer games ,and personal computer platforms like operating systems ,programming languages and hardware made everyone in the world a potential computer user and we can differentiate the demerits based the usability rules

2.The challenge of professional computing became manifest at an opportune time. the inclusion of cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence ,linguistics and cognitive anthropology and the philosophy of mind had formed.

The main advantage is usage of cognitive engineering with different approaches for the usability levels

Like

1.learnability: it focuses on how easy for a user to accomplish basic tasks for the first time they interact with your product

2.efficienty: it focuses on how the users ability to perform task once they have learned the design

3.memorability: if a user has spent some time away from your design and then return ,then it proves how easily he can re establish proficiency

4.errors: tracking how many errors do the user doo

5.satisfaction: determining how pleasant the design is to use

3.The movement of HCI off the desktop is a large scale example of a pattern of technology development that is replicated throughout HCI at many levels of analysis.HCI address the dynamic co evolution of the activities people engage in and experience and the artifacts –such as interactive tools and environments that medicate those activities.HCI is about understanding and critically evaluating the interactive technologies people use and experience. but it is also about how those interactions evolve as people appropriate technologies as their expectations ,concepts and skills develop and as they articulate new needs and visions for interactive technology

4.Reciprocally HCI is about understanding contemporary human practices and aspirations ,elaborated but also perhaps limited by current infrastructures and tools .HCI is about understanding practices and activity specifically as requirements and design possibilities envisioning and bringing into new technologies, and environments
