Describe a situation in which a command language or a natural-language interface (choose only one) may be more beneficial for users than other input methods would be. Include the intended audience, the main purpose of the application, and why a command language or a natural-language interface would be more suitable for this situation. Command Langauge is a programming language in which user communicates with the OS(operating system ) or The application. Command language uses Command line interfaces by using mouse or keyboard. The system which respond to the command language in OS is called as the Command Processor. Some of the Command language Examples are DOS, Microsoft windows batch file etc..

The important benefits of command language are :

1. They are easy to be typed by the users.

2. They do not contain any files which need to be compiled

3. They have very small content and can be modified easily.

4. They are easy to use and have good efficiency.

Command language uses an interface called Command line interface for interacting with computer programs .It requires very few resources and is powerful.

Uses of Command language interface are :

1. They are concise

2. They are easy to automate

3. They are user friendly

4. It is cheaper and does not requires windows to run

5. It requires less Random access memory

A command prompts like $,#,:,>,% are used in the interface to accept commands.They arguments with options are typed to perform required actions in the interface.

The Programming languages like Python , LISP, BASIC provide interactive command line mode with a range of options of commands .

Some of the command applications of CLI are :

Grep : Grep is a CLI utility which searches plain text data and matches with regular expression , it is originally used in UNIX OS.

Httpie : Httpie is a user friendly command line interpreter which is used in HTTP client

php-cli : php-cli is used in the implementations of PHP for interactive use.

Command line is also used to configure routers with CISCO IOS , JUNOS.
