Question

The question is to translate into a wff:

"On Tuesday and Thursday, I attend our lecture"

And I have the propositions set up as
t: It is Tue. or Thur.
a: I attend our lecture

What makes sense to me after looking at a truth table is that they are either both true or both false... Ie, if its tue/thur, you attend lecture, otherwise you don't. Meaning their truth values should match.

So I get the answer t <--> a

I know I am making a big deal out of a simple question but I want to make sure my foundation is solid before the course picks up!

Is my thought process wrong anywhere?

Explanation / Answer

You are absolutely right if you check the truth table of t<-->a if both t and a are true then the proposition is true. which means that If it is tue, or thur, I attend our lecture.

Now for the other condition in which the proposition is true is if both t and a are false means If it is not tue, or thur, I didn't attend our lecture.
