Your boss mentions that recently a number of employees have received calls from individuals who didn't identify themselves and asked a lot of questions about the company and its computer infrastructure. At first, he thought this was just a computer vendor who was trying to sell your company some new product, but no vendor has approached the company. He also says several strange e-mails requesting personal information have been sent to employees, and quite a few people have been seen searching your company's trash dumpsters for recyclable containers.

1.Your boss asks what you think about all of these strange incidents.

2.Respond and be sure to provide a recommendation on what should be done about the various incidents.

Explanation / Answer

1. I thought that there something happening around the company and that has to be know immediately before anything happens. I think that someone is doing by purpose to know the company details. I strongly conclude that some one is trying to hack the company information and the data so that we have to be more careful.

2.In this case first i think whether it is intentionally done by the internal resources or outside people are trying. Before thinking and taking reaction the first thing to do is to discuss with the it team and network teams to improve more security to stop those emails and calls.

Then try to identify the phone number and E-mail address. Then will send an information to all the employees not to dispose any waste in the dumpsters containing company related data and not to respond for any mails and phone calls.
