1. Enterprise or System are built on the System/360 architecture. What is a computer architecture?
Answer)
Enterprises and Systems are based and built on the System/360 architecture built by IBM and used in the S/360 line of mainframe computers. Now coming to the definition, of computer architecture such as System/360 by IBM, computer architecture is the rules set for a machine or a computer which describes that how will the computer function, organize, implement, run and execute and what capabilities and what all things the computer will support. Architecture is hardware as well as software. Hardware architecture in the sense that logic design and hardware capabilities of the computer and also the implementation of these hardware to be a unit and perform a job which will make the computer run and execute instructions. Computer architecture also describes the programming model which the architecture implements and can execute and support.
