the kind of leadership stye he follows is Autocratic leadership who is authoritarian, directive or monothetic style. He holds all the decision making power in himself. he is strict and Benovalent Autocrat. where his method of influencing employees behavior is through negativem motivation that is by critisizing them or levied panelty . example Gates signed off the expenses of Steve Ballmer who was second in command.
Gates centralise decision making power with him but his motivation style is postive.He encourages creativity and innovation and recognizes individual and team achievements.
