My native is India. I am fortunate to have graduated from one of the leading Economics colleges of the country, i.e. the Presidency College. The college enrolled the students on high-merit basis, considering the scores of the High secondary as well as that of their entrance test. Being meritorious right since my school days, I sailed through their admission procedure smoothly. I believe I am a good candidate for this award of scholarship because I have always shown consistency in my academic grading right since the inception of my educational career. In addition, I have been known in my school and college for showing immense leadership skills, especially in the times of crisis. I have always dedicatedly involved myself in various co-curricular activities and won the National-level tennis championship as well, bringing a lot of laurels to my college. Besides, I was elected as the General Secretary of my Student’s Union that genuinely worked for the welfare of the students and did not support any kind of uncalled activities such as strikes, lobbying, ragging, etc. My ethnicity, being Indian, I would like to apply for the International scholarship to avail the opportunity to study at your esteemed University and further strengthen my academic and career goals.
This scholarship means a lot to me. Although I hail from a good academic and economic background, I still do not have enough monetary resources to support my education in an International University of your genre. My keenness to learn more and give a service back to the society in whatever best way I can, requires a backing from your end as well. Hence receiving a scholarship from this application process is essential to cherish my dreams in most ideal way.
