Union is an association of work man. Some, organization have union some don’t, presence of it depends on organization policy and operation procedure.

Organization which don’t have union will not be able to stay alive if the workman do have constant grievance which is not able to solved by the firm.

Union organizing driving the interests of employee and owner directly and customers indirectly. Union help to keep balance between organization and employee. Which help to make the organization work efficiently and also keep the employees happy. By doing so it help organization to server it’s customer continuously.

From ethical perspective HR should protect the interest of employee and owner, by doing so they can protect the interest of the customer of the organization. Ethically it is HR duty to protect both owner and employee interest by making a mutual consent.
