How to calculate? Is it 255.255.255.192 or 255.255.255.224? Thank youExplanation / Answer
given IP address is: 192.168.1.0/24
if we borrow three bits..
then IP becomes 192.168.1.0/27
/27 represent the number of bit to represent 1 i.e there 27 bit of 1 which are used to represent network address.
subnet mask = 11111111.11111111.11111111.11100000
= 255.255.255.224
Network IP = 192.168.1.0/27
hence network IP is 192.168.1.0/27 and subnet mask is 255.255.255.224
I can not determine the MAC address because it a hardware address and originate from different sources.
