I have an assignment that we have to produce a new product, and we need to determine the labor operations that will be used to produce our product.

Our product would be a redesigned power outlet that has retractable female usb slots to make charging phones or other devices more accessible and not limited to the 3 foot cords. We would add the retractable cord winders on either side of the existing outlet in the same size insulation box so that they would have room to wind and not get stuck. The parts would include a regular dual 3-prong outlet, and then added usb cords, the retracting mechanism, and a faceplate to match the design.
