The source of conflict in my team is due to :

When a goal for a project is assigned, say customer satisfaction scores were planned to have at 60%, which is increase of 4% from the previous quarter, the tasks for achieving this target/Goal are assigned and most of the employees involved accept the targets and tasks. Then when there are review meetings

So the best way to resolve it is collaboration and goal sharing, where the tasks are broken down and clear responsibility is allocated to the individuals and the agregate is provided to the team.

The results are tracked and updated by a PMO, which directly avoids any confrontation and hence avoids direct competition.
