Individual behaviour: It can be defined as “A manner in which a person conducts himself”. It is combination of reactions to internal and external stimuli.

The emotion of an individual deciphers his/her behaviour. It impacts an individual’s skill to make efficient judgement and to work suitably with others. Uncaring behaviours such as impoliteness and chitchat interrupt the smooth flow of the workplace. An individual’s behaviour may affect whether they keep the job or not. Carrying feelings to workplace behaviours affects the work performance.

Individual behaviour affects all aspects of a person's performance, e.g. how he/she respond to circumstances on the job. Not every character is suited for every job position available, so it becomes immensely significant to recognize personality behaviour and match up workforce with the duties that fit their personalities the best. This can lead to increased productivity and job satisfaction, helping the business function more efficiently.

Whether the behaviour is positive or negative, productivity is often directly related. Optimistic behaviour at work can directly affect an employee's ability to move up ranks in an organisation and at the same time a downbeat behaviour can freeze a career.

Negative Behaviour effects:

An employee who consistently displays negative behaviour in the workplaces affects everyone around him. It has a ripple effect in the workplace. An employee who exhibits poor behaviour is often less productive and shows little concern for the quality of his work.

Positive Behaviour Effects
