I am working on a c++ program for my project. Now, although it is not required I like to add a function to make the program exit after certain amount of time is elapsed. Though I don't want that to be activated while user is still inputting the required information. This way he will get as much time as he needs to enter the data. Then when the program reads the input, calculates, and presents whatever it needs to, it is the end of program and it will ask the user to press any key to exit. Here is where I want to alternatively be able to make the program exit itself if user did not press any key within lets say ten seconds to exit the program. And this is something I don't know how to do. Thanks.
