As we know that CASE is abbreviation of Computer aided software Engineering.these tools are basically used for development of software solution as well maintenance also.

We can say that Case tools itself a software codes which are used to do automation of software development life cycle tasks.

we can list many case tools few of them are:-

1)Documentaion related tools

2)Database management tools

3)Design tools

4)Project management tools

5)project analysis related tools

these are the few names only there are many more tools available.So here we reach the question Why to use these tools so answer is it basically speed up your development process and to tackle flaws before going ahead to next stage.

Now let us discuss in depth about few case tools :-

Diagram related Tool:-These tools basicially show the information like system component, data flow among various other component of software in graphical manner.Like flow chart related various tools are available which are useful to create flowcharts related to software design.

Modeling of process Related tools:- it basically create process model Related activities that help in developing the project.it helps engineer or team lead to choose a model and do modify if neccessary.

Project management Related Tools:- while developing any software solution we should have fair idea about cost estimation, effort estimation,Project solution planning, project timeline scheduling.It is adviced to comply with every step of this tools for smooth development process.

Documentation Tools:- These tools are used for documentation of project .As we know that in Software life cycle(SDLC) documentation starts from first phase and goes throughout each and every phase of SDLC.These tools generate documents which can be used by technical person of any non technical person as well like any end user.These documents are having information of software manual.Training manual.installation manual, hazard manual etc these documents are the first thing which is refered by any new person in team to get the proper understanding of project.

Adobe Robohelp is one of the example of documentation tools.

Designing related tools:- so to design the block structure of software these tools are used.These tools degine block and show how these block can be broken to other sub modules. Animated design is one of the example.

Programming tools:- these tools do support in programming tasks. So these tools are package of IDE,Various library etc.one of the example is Eclipse ,netbeans etc.

Maintenance Related tools:- these tools primary job is to perform maintenance related activities after product delivery.These tools maintains logs of error etc bugzila is one of the example.

So intern is having no idea about software product so he/she might be unsure about the flow of software product so other team member should try to help him to make him understand about flow of application these should be various document related to product team lead should ask him to refer those document for fair idea about project.
