Question
Filling columns quickly
Hi
If I have a huge spreadsheet of sales targets and I want to give a bonus to those who have achieved over a certain sum I can create a column called Bonus and use the formula =IF(H11>=2000,"Yes","No") this puts a No in J11, what I need to know is that is there another way to fill all the cells in the column quickly other than using the fill handle and dragging all the way down the column, could I fill all the cells at once without using a macro,
Any suggestion 4me?
Explanation / Answer
Select this cell with the formula in and in the bottom right corner of that cell you'll see a small black box called the fill handle. Double click it and the formula will fill down as far as there are data in the adjacent column.
