I am to write a java that has a personal customer and commercial customer that inherit a customer class. I was able to do this. Next, the user, can enter in a customer's id, verify that it exists in the ArrayList/System and then enter a transaction for that id. I have done this.

My problem: my customer balances are not reflecting the transaction values that I enter for each customer. Each customer number is random generated, so there is no way that I could pre-populate their accounts. I need to know, how I can have the transaction and it value change the value of the balance in the account class for each customer.

For updating the array list.....as you know how to make it.

Define a global varible.....while storing data copy data to global variable. When it will call update function it will change the values in global variable. When u need to use thoda values make another function to store global values to local variable.
