- Muscle cells are known as myocytes, they can contract to make movement of muscles where as other cells can not contract to make movement. This is the unique feature of muscle cell, hence muscle cell is muscle cell.

- The various types of tissues are Epithelial tissues, Connective tissues, Nervous tissues and Muscle tissues. Epithelial tissues help in protection, exchange and secretion, they are closely packed cells. Connective tissues helps in binding and supporting other tissues. Nervous tissue help in transmission of nerve signals, they are neurons with branching extensions. Muscle tissues help in movement of body parts, they are long cells or fibres with contractile proteins.
