Answer - the LEVER system can be used to alter the force a musculoskeletal system can output.Levers are used so that a small force can move a much bigger force. this mechanism is called as mechanical advantage.
There are three types of lever systems.
class I lever- the pivot is in between the effort and load.
class 2 lever- load lies between the pivot and effort
class 3 lever- effort lies between load and pivot.
