Question

Ok, I the need to know the changes of pulse rate and respiratory rate for healthy adult after doing excercise for 5 miuntes , and then measure his PR and RR immediatly after he stopped the excercise , and after 30 sec , after 1 min, after 2 min, 5 mint and after 10 minutes of stopping, why and how the PR and HR will change starting from zero time and normal PR and RR at rest going to excercise ..

Please advise

Thanks

Please, respond to this question , i need that as a Lab report to be attached with my graphs

What patterns do we see in HR and RR during and after exercise for 5 minutes ? then stopped immmediatly after excercise , after 30 sec, after 1 min, after 2 min, after 5min, and after 10 min, How do these findings relate to our study of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems? (Please include in your analysis appropriate anatomical and physiologic information)

Thank you very much

Explanation / Answer

For an healthy adult , if the exercise is intense respiratory rate (RR) increases from 15 breathes per minute to 45-50 breathes per minute.

Pulse rate (PR) during rest is around 60- 100 beats per minute. During exercise it may increase upto 150 beats per minute.

Both PR & RR gets elevated immediately after aerobic exercise. This is because the increased heart rate & breathing helps in preventing the buildup of carbon-dioxide & restores the negessnec oxygen that was depleted during the exercise.

Both PR & RR remains elevated after 30seconds of exercise . After 1min of exercise , slowly both PR & RR decreases. RR may reduce to 35 to 40 breathes & PR to 135-140beats per minute depending upon the individual & the intensity of the exercise.

After 2mins, RR reduces below 30 breathes & PR below 125 beats per minute.

After 5mins, RR reduces below 20 breathes & PR below 110 beats per minute.

After 10mins of exercise , the body comes back to normal. It compensates for the extra oxygen requirement. Hence RR will be around 15 breathes per min & PR around 85- 90 beats per minute.
