The scatterplot indicates a negative and moderately strong relationship between job performance and emotional labor. In other words, it shows that as job performance increases, emotional labour is likely to decrease or three vice versa. We know that the relationship is negative from the plot because we can observe a declining slant. Furthermore, we can also infer that the relationship is moderately strong because the data points roughly but not perfectly surround a straight line.
