it has been argued by many criticis that advertising has become one of the most influential forms of information communication. Though, in many cases advertising has amplified or re enforced the gender roles.

In many of the ads, women are known to be carrying out household work, such as washing utensils or washing clothes or cooking whereas, the men are shown to be working in offices and in carrying out chores such as washing cars.

The primary audience of such ads are the women who would be buying household materials. It is always assumed and depicted in such ads that women would be carrying out household chores and thus women who are ideal and have been successful as home makers would be depicted.

These techniques would be used most commonly Because they reach to a number individuals, as the audience is not restricted to one state or to one country. Media communication is attractive and could be easily perceived and understood, hence, used more frequently.
