Mr. Jones was type A. Ms Jones was A Ashely was type O, and Nicole was type B. Had a mix-up occurred? Explain giving the possible genotype of all involved.

Yes. The Jones' baby could either be type O or type A , never type B. Neither Mr nor Mrs Jones had a B allele to donate to a child. Mrs Smith did, so she potentially could have had a type B baby
