Hinduism is a vast religion which is practiced by as many as 1 billion people world wide mostly in South Asia.

It is perhaps the oldest religion of the world. The scholarly articles refer hinduism as fusion or synthesis of different cultures and traditions that have come together with no specific founder.

The religion started to develop between 500 BC and 300 CE , following the Vedic period.

The reliogion contains a broad range of cultures , traditions , beliefs , practices , texts etc . Their texts incorporate vedas , upanishads , The bhagwad gita , Agamas etc.

The religion is the third largest in the world , with almost 15% of the world population as hindu . It holds and preaches the values based on spirituality and has no governing body , unquestionable religious authorities etc.
