Explanation / Answer
In this case Tina is under the influence of emotions and Joe should deal with her carefully. Hence Joe’s response should ensure to reassure Tina by explaining the reasons for his actions and ensuring that the same would not happen again if she improves on her customer service skills. Joe should also extend his support to overcome her challenges in handling customers. Hence Joe’s communication response should be reassuring and supporting. Joe needs to explain the situation that led to the disciplinary actions and reassure and support her by saying that she can change her behavior through proper training and become successful in job.
