The next four questions (#32, 33, 34, and 35) are related to the following information. A study was conducted to examine the effect of social setting (either being among 5 friends or 5 strangers) and anxdety (either highly anxious or relaxed) on drinking behavior. Participants were randomly assigned to either spend time with a group of 5 friends or 5 strangers. Their level of anxiety was manipulated, such that some participants were randomly assigned to feel highly anxious prior to interacting with their group, and other participants were randomly assigned to a relaxed condition prior to interacting with their group.
