Sites like Facebook and Twitter, Instagram have become very popular. Most recently fake news are becoming increasingly a problem. While some news are fake, ppeople also tend to label news as fake when it does not sit well with their beliefs, values or view point.   Most of you may have an account in one, two or more of these sites. How helpful or harmful do you think is this influence in enhancing or/ and harming inter relationships? If you do not belong to one of these sites, then do some research by speaking to others who subscribe to these sites.

Social media is a series of Web based application that facilitates creation and sharing of idea to the virtual communities. Social media has become a part of our today’s life that one has it to deal with some sort of social media account in our everyday life. Some of the common forms of social media are facebook, Twitter, Instagramand Snapchat.

Impact of social media on an individual and their behavior is enormous there are positive and negative aspects. It helps in exchange of ideas between different cultures; social media was initially created primarily to support the pre existing social relations. Facebook was used to connect or to maintain the existing relationships. However it also has negative impact since it can harbor a lot of unrealistic things.

Studies shows that social media can influence ones attitude and behavior since circumstantial events can influence and can further change our behavior, areas that impact any individual’s life includes personal, political and consumer’s buying behavior.

It tends to accentuate the positive image or creates an idealized or more than perfect image version of themselves to the others
