Explanation / Answer

The term behavioral trap was first described by Baer and Wolf (1970) when describing how natural contingencies of reinforcement can operate to promote and maintain generalized behavior changes. For me,for the behaviour I used behaviour trappping is developing exercise behaviour as a party of my everyday routine.Exercising is something i always wanted to take up since I started focusing on health.I was reading about it,watching people going to gym which finally motivated me to take it up.Adter doind it for almost two weeks I started feeling good about myself,I started feeling motivated,optimistic about myself and the world,more energetic and driven to achieve my goals which ultimately lead to me inculcate it in my everyday routine.Now,I make sure I exercise everyday for atleast 2 hours without which my day looks unfinished. By identifying the behaviour I wanted to learn and the articifical reinforcers of reading health articles,talking to people about it and watching people going to gym,made me take it up and then after positive reinforcement of feeling good about myself and all other benefits experienced (natural reinforcer) it has become a desired behaviour now.
