the major reason for involving various artwork, block designing and dramatic play is to prepare students for future and to open new roads as to what they are good at and what they would like to do in the future. it fundamentally enables the visualisation and development of perceptions and ideas. taking artwork as an example, it is used in different range of industries in the creative sectors – animation, architecture, design, fashion, film, theatre, performance and the communication industries .it is also widely used within a range of other professions as a means to develop, document, explore, explain, interrogate and plan. This includes the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine and sport.

strategies to collaborate with parents :

1. Initiation: the first step is always important. teachers should initiate contact as soon as they know which students will be in their classroom for the school year. contact can occur by means of an introductory phone call or a letter to the home introducing yourself to the parents and establishing expectations. this shows availability of the teachers and the readiness to solve problems.

2. Timeliness: the contact should be made as soon as a problem is identified, so a timely solution can be found. there should be no waiting for this process. Waiting too long can create new problems, possibly through the frustration of those involved.

3. Consistency and frequency: parents want frequent, ongoing feedback about how their children are performing with homework. parents and teachers each want to see whether each of them is performing the tasks assigned to them. there should be clarity in their communication, parents and teachers should have the information they need to help students, in a form and language that makes sense to them.
