the character chosen in Kevin from the series how I met your mother. The role of the character was a therapist. He was holding a court ordered therapy session for robin, who had been forced to do so after she assaulted a woman. Mostly, the patients of Kevin are criminals who are court ordered for attending therapy. He is very chill and sorted and is an easy going person, albeit his profession. After being Robin’s therapist, he started getting attracted to her and stopped attending to her.
Kevin and his brother have a strained relationship, because his brother is a neurosurgeon and thinks of himself as the superior one. Kevin has attended Harvard twice. Also, his brother keeps getting all of the attention. And his ability to treat human mind is neglected.
Level of experience of the character is not portrayed. Though, he treats and handles court mandated criminals, stating that he would be a licensed therapist. This implies that he is a psychiatrist counsellor.
He did not violate any ethical norms as he stopped being Robin’s therapist as he realised that he was getting attracted to robin. Though, he got involved with her later, which is also unethical.
