Explanation / Answer
There are no current wellness programs running in most of the organizations. A perfect wellness regime is the combination of healthy food with right exercises. In a company I want to work I will ensure that a helath policy must be there. Wokers will be indulge in regular helath sessions and new games and helath techniques will be introduced in a fitness area of the company. Personally, I start my day wil Yog and walk. I drink luke warm water with honey and lemon in the morning as I am reducing weight these days. My goal is to reduce 5 kg in 2 months without any strict diet as I believe that strict diet increase other health issues. So the key is to eat in small intervals where as right now I am eating only 2 times in a day i.e. 11 am and 9 pm.
I do Yoga on daily basis but it depends on person to person. Yoga is the first exercise regime discovered by human beings and te best of all. It is not for 6 pack abs and body building but for getting helathy from within. In any busy day I do atleast 3 Asans i.e. Surya namaskaar, Kapaal Bhaati and Anulom Veelom. There are other Asans too. And I do pushups and umping with brisk walking. Key is to keep on changing the routine with proper balance of calories burning exercises.
Recommendations- A fitness area like gym etc in any organization, helps in relaxing the workers for 15-20 minutes atleast. Lot of stress will only leads to delay in work and poor quality of work. I will develop new ideas like aerobics, power yoga, jumping a rope, work while stand etc. which can increase the productivity and improve the health of workers. They will be relaxed and happy. Regular fitness camps can be organised where 100% participation of workers mandatory in order to make them more productivity which finally helps in achieving the goals.
