In recent years, many groups have called for using instructional class time to teach curriculum in areas such as values clarification and character building. Traditional educators disagree with these additions, saying that such instruction belongs to the parents and/or the community and takes time away from needed instruction in basic academics. Discuss the value of these added curriculum areas versus an emphasis on traditional basic academics. Step 1: value is principle which helps to understand what is more important in life..In traditional educator are disagree to inculcate value or development moral character should not be part of curriculum.but situation has changed.now Modern educators recommended that value education and development character of children should be made integral part of curriculum.every child not get equal opportunity to imbibe necessary values or development moral character in their family environment but school is that environment where under one roof every child can share sane values and get platfrom to building their character.even in India scenrios, various education commission or committe like secondary education commission, kothari commission greatly emphasis to module separate curriculum for immbibe values and morality among learners.besides the major funtiion of education is inculcate rich social values and building a good moral character of learner.

The values should be high esteem and idea, beliefs which reflected one '' behavior.
In character Education , positive personality traits like cooperation, love, affection, tolerance, patience, etc should develop. Following values or character should be the model for instructions
Democratic citizenship:Respect for authority, learned the principal of democracy freedom, justice, equality , liberty.
Patriotism: develop courage, respect for Nation, loyalty towards social institution, caste traditiona
Conservatiion: avoiding waste and protect from pollution to resource.
Respect for others: to provide training of courtesy,compassion, integrity, truth .toward others.
Respect for self: develop self esteem and fullfilled own committment.
Work ethics: they should be learned work ethics such puntuality,accomplishment,independent, deligency,deve dev originality and school prude.
