Explanation / Answer
College students have been shown to consistently overesriover the drinking of their peers. As a result social norms appraoaches are effective in correcting these misperceived Norm to reduce alcohol consumption and alcohol related problems. In this article it's been critically evaluated the effectiveness of personalised normative feedback.
Alcohol consumption among college has been an area of extensive concern, largely based on wide spread problem associated with college student drinking.
Social norms interventions can be decided into 2 general categories: silocimarketing and personalised normative feedback.
Social marketing: social marketing is a universal mass xommucommunicmeyhod for teaching students actual drinking norms. This approach provide actual drinking norms to college students using advertisement, flyers, posters and e-mailed messages.
Personalised normative feedback. Like social marketing personalised normative feedback appraoaches use information designed to correct normative misperception to reduce heavy drinking. Along with these methods other problems like drug addiction, eve-teasing etc can be solved.
2. I don't personally like gender Norm of our society where I personally been pressured to behave and dress in more traditionally feminine ways. This often how's against my nerdy, tomboyish nature, especially I don't enjoy learning things like earnings, high heel etc the types of things that are equated to gemininity. But rather I am generally blunt, cynical, akward and geeky. These characteristics do not fall under the clear cut female generalisation for female. Many people still stick to traditional ideas that men and women should behave in ways that fall into specific categories determined solely on their gender.
On the other way I believe on malmale or female gender specific identities are irrelevant in modern civilised society.
