Case study in eating disorder:
Initial assessment: The patient, named xyz, has a very low weight and is constantly concerned that they would be gaining weight. Xyz is constantly concerned with their food restrictions and that they want to stay thin. Despite having such low weight, they are having a constant feeling that they are overweight. They do not want to acknowledge this. It is getting worse, since they are forcing themselves to vomit. They sometimes also use laxatives for producing loss of weight. There are a number of symptoms that may be caused as a result of most important of which is the irregularities in her menstrual cycle. This might further lead to osteoporosis at an older age.
