Explanation / Answer

There are total ( 4 + 3 + 3) = 10 council memebers of which 4 are students.

p(Student) = 4 / 10

probability that first member selected is student is 4/10

Now since first member is selected, there are 9 members left with 3 students.

Therefore probability of selecting second student from remaining members is 3 / 9

P( Two students will be selected ) = 4/10 * 3/9

= 2 / 15

P( Two students will be selected ) = 2 / 15
