Part (b)

The table strengthens the researcher’s claim.

27% of the employees belong to lowest income slab and also have the lowest job satisfaction.

33% of the employees belong to highest income slab and also have the highest job satisfaction.

And these two together account for 60% of the employees.

The claim is further confirmed by the fact that a sizable 13% of employees fall into the neutral-middle income slab cell.

The relationship between income and job satisfaction is positive – i.e., as income goes up, job satisfaction also gets elevated.
