Explanation / Answer

Globalization can be said to have a diverse effect on every aspect of life be it the services it has provided or a change that it offers. While we take into account resources like water, mineral, food etc. we can see that while there is availability of cheap supply for these items in countries which have a thriving local business, there is also the factor for external market competition form various multinational brand which has resulted in the decrease of prices in some cases, while, increase in the prices of the same in some areas. This is determined by the presence of a local market and the potential the market has while also taking into account the impact of competition and monopoly that the area enjoys.

Sustainable development can be thought of as the necessary steps that a business or any organization follows that allow it to be able to coexist in the environment that they utilize while essentially giving back to the environment that they are dependant on and the natural environment of the entire planet in order to be a success as well as care for the environment. Wastage is the main issue that is affecting the amount of work that is getting done in the companies. This overconsumption in the art of people, consumer, organization and every aspect of life has allowed the environment to suffer by laying added stress on the already depleted resources and therefore poses a threat to the environment.

Market, government and NGOs essentially run all the necessary functions that a country poem forms. While, some businesses might be self sustainable, their needs an external environment in order to operate in. therefore, while all these institutions utilize the environment for their needs, in a combined effort, can be utilized to allow the environment to be cared for. This essentially means businesses can come together to form the essential business laws based on the ethics and NGOs to conduct campaigns which allow them to be able to help the environment. Being such an important force, they can be utilized effectively to solve the basic problems in any economy and the dragonmtn as a whole.

Challenges facing sustainable development include overutilization of resources by the people, companies and essentially every form of business that operates in a area in some form or the other. This is therefore a threat to the environment because of the sheer amount of businesses that operate in the area, or, the unethical views that some of the businesses follow. Usually, it can be seen that the environment gets affected by the improper management and in most cases, wastage is the reason a business fails to allow the company to not harm the environment in the long sun and hinder its sustainability.

In order to have a sustainable development where a business operates under the work of ethics and morality, there needs to be the implementation of laws and policies that need to be put in place in order to allow the businesses to manage themselves effectively. This includes the use of lean and sigma six methodology, Waste reduction management and removal, sustainable policies, unethical behaviour by the people and essentially all the activities that are conducted which allow a business to grow while essentially helping the environment in some way or the other. This could include things like drives, workshops etc. to educate themselves, their workers as well as their audience for the cause.
