a. P( none of the components will break) = [1-P(Heat bulb burn out)]*[ 1-P(Overhead lamp burn out )]*[1-P(Power filter breakage )]*[1-P(automatic feeder breakage)]

= 0.8*0.4*0.9*0.2 = 0.0576

b. P(exactly 3 components will break) = P(Heat bulb,Overhead lamp and Power filter will break) + P(Heat bulb,Overhead lamp and automatic feeder will break) +P(Heat bulb ,Power filter and automatic feeder will break) +P(Overhead lamp,Power filter and automatic feeder will break)
