Answer to part c)

based on the working of part a and b, we got confidence interval of mean salary of women as $5001 - $5277 and confidence interval of mean salary of men as $5708-$6206. We can observe that the two intervals have no values in common at all. The upper limit of mean salary of women is less than the lower limit of mean salary of men. Thus we would conclude that there is significant difference in the mean salary of men and women.
