The correlation given is 0.903 which is very high so we can say that there is a significance relationship between IQ score of younger child and IQ score of older child and therefore, IQ score of older child can be used to predict the IQ score of younger child.

Given equation,

y = -9.2 + 1.1x

For x = 91,

y = -9.2 + 1.1(91)

y = 90.9

Therefore,

The best predicted IQ of the younger child is 90.9
