According to family plan there are two types of cost involved , a fixed cost which is the monthly fee and the variable cost which is the data charges cost that depend on the number of devices that need data.

Therefore total cost of a family plan = fixed cost + variable cost i.e.

Total cost = $110 + $(P×30) = $(110 + 30×P)
