a) 2 D and 4 R

= [C(7,2)*C(5,4)]/C(12,6)

= [21*5]/924

= 0.113

b) 4 D and 2 R

= [C(7,4)*C(5,2)]/C(12,6)

= [35*10]/924

= 0.378

c) 3 D and 3 R

= [C(7,3)*C(5,3)]/C(12,6)

= [35*10]/924

= 0.378

d)

n = 6

p = 0.417

q = 0.583

Expected value= n*p = 6*0.417 = 2.502
