In the remaining parts of this lab we will learn that glaciers produce some of the most beautiful landscapes on the globe, and will focus on the glacial features of Yosemite National Park. If you have not visited the park, then you are encouraged to do so. I can almost guarantee you that you will not be disappointed!

Answer: Here you can observe that valley is in U-shaped, This means commonly U-shaped valleys formed by the glacial erosion.

Glaciers occupy valleys and flow downhill. As they erode their valleys both lateral and vertically, U shaped valleys with steep walls and flat floor are produced.

Question 5

Answer: Rivers valley is in the V-shaped but glacier has U-shaped valley, this is the main difference between rivers and glacier. This is because of, glacier can erode the walls of mountains strongly than river.
