Answer: Here you can observe that valley is in U-shaped, This means commonly U-shaped valleys formed by the glacial erosion.

Glaciers occupy valleys and flow downhill. As they erode their valleys both lateral and vertically, U shaped valleys with steep walls and flat floor are produced.

Answer: Rivers valley is in the V-shaped but glacier has U-shaped valley, this is the main difference between rivers and glacier. This is because of, glacier can erode the walls of mountains strongly than river.
