Explanation / Answer

today we have very hot climate condetion while at that time we have very cold climatic condetion such that glaciers starts forming and increasing their shape and size.

as we are increasing day by day the Co2 and temperature the glaciers carry on melting till today. the methan also create global warming so these all three increases the climatic temparature and increases the global warming temparature.

the ice core which was formed during that time they may contain several information about climatic condetion during that time . the methan gas trapped inside the ice whose analysis may give the information about the climatic condetion during that time.
